Tehran- Flight to Shiraz

On the second day, we visit some of the most important sights of the capital of Iran, Tehran: the Golestan Palace (a 19th century palace which was the seat of the government and residence of a number Qajarid kings), the National Museum of Iran (we visit the pre-Islamic section of the museum and get to know the history of Iran up to the Sassanian period) and the National Jewelry Museum (home to some of the most beautiful and precious Jewels in the world, such as the legendary "Sea of Light"). In the afternoon, we fly to and spend the night in the beautiful city of Shiraz.

Day 3

Shiraz

On the third day, we show you Shiraz, Iran’s city of poetry and wine. The unique sights you will see in Shiraz are: Narenjestan-e Qavam (a magnificent Qajarid house and garden), Nasir al-Mulk Mosque (also known as the Pink Mosque, famous for its sash windows and the colorful play of light in one of its rooms), Madrasa Khan (a 16th theological school), Vakil Bazaar along with Saray-e Moshir, the Holly Shrine of Ali ibn Hamza (famous for its splendid mirror-work) and, finally, the Tomb of Hafez (the 14th century legendary poet of Iran, famous for his mystical and critical poems). Overnight stay in Shiraz.

Day 4

Shiraz- Persepolis- Naqsh-e Rustam- Shiraz (130 km)

You will spend the fourth day exploring the ceremonial palace of the Achaemenid kings, Persepolis , and also Naghshe Rostam (or Necropolis, house to the rock tombs of the Achaemenid emperors and a number of Sassanid stone-reliefs). In the afternoon, we will come back to Shiraz and then you will have some free time to enjoy a memorable night in the beautiful city of Shiraz.

Day 5

Shiraz - Kerman (560 km)

On the fifth day, we leave Shiraz and go to Kerman. On our way, we would have a stop to visit the ruins of a Sassanid palace, "Kakh-e Sassani," in Sarvestan. Then, we will drive to the city of Neyriz and visit its Jameh Mosque (congregational mosque), famous for its delicately designed Mihrab. Overnight stay in Kerman.

Kerman- Mahan-Shahdad (120km)

In the morning, we drive to Mahan to visit Shazdeh Garden, a green paradise in the middle of an arid desert and the Mausoleum of Shah Nematollah Vali, a famous Iranian mystic and poet. Then, we drive to the Shahdad Desert to visit the marvelous sand formations known as "Kalout" and a night sky speckled with winking stars. We spend the night in Shahdad.

Day 7

Shahdad- Kerman (100km)

In the morning, we drive back to Kerman to visit Ganj-Ali Khan complex ( including a square, a bath-house, and a caravanserai), the Jameh Mosque of kerman, the Grand Bazaar of Kerman ,the Moayedi Ice House (a Safavid water and ice reservoir) and the Jabaliyeh Dome (a 16th century stone monument now turned into a museum of historical inscriptions). Overnight stay in Kerman.

Day 8

Kerman- Yazd (360km)

On the eighth day, we leave Kerman to go to Yazd. On the way to Yazd, we visit Zein-o-Din Caravanserai and the Zoroastrian village of Cham. We spend the night in Yazd.

Day 9

Yazd

Today, we explore the largest adobe city of the world, Yazd. The sights we visit in this city of adobe include: the Zoroastrian Fire Temple of Yazd (the most important fire temple in Iran), the Towers of Silence (the old graveyard of Zoroastrians), Dowlat-Abad Garden (an 18th century garden with one of the largest wind-catchers in the world) and Amir-Chakhmaq Square (a splendid 15th century square with a mosque, a bazaar and a water-cistern). We spend the night in Yazd.

Yazd- Meibod- Naein- Ispahan (360km)

On the tenth day, we say goodbye to the old and lovely city of Yazd and continue our tour to Isfahan. On our way, we stop at Nain to have a look at its Jameh Mosque, a unique example of early Islamic mosques in Iran. We spend the night in Isfahan.

Isfahan

In Isfahan, we visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the monuments surrounding it: Jame Abbasi Mosque, Sheikh Lotfolah Mosque, Qeysarieh Bazaar and Ali Qapou Palace. We will also visit Chehel Sotoun Palace, a fine example of world-renown Persian gardens and a magnificent reception hall. Overnight stay in Isfahan.

Day 12

Isfahan

The sights we visit on the second day in Isfahan are: the Atiq Jameh Mosque of Isfahan (a mosque with a long history and considered as a museum of Persian architecture) , the Armenian Vank Cathedral and the well-known Safavid bridges of Si-o-Se Pol and Khaju Bridge. Overnight stay in Isfahan.

Day 13

Ispahan- Abyaneh- Kashan (210 km)

After two days in Isfahan, we head to our next destination, Kashan. On the way, we will have a stop at Abyaneh, the astonishing red village of Iran. Then, we continue our trip to Kashan and visit such sights as: Tabatabai House (a prime example of traditional Iranian houses in the 19th century), Fin Garden and Aqa Bozorg Mosque (a 19th century mosque and theological school with a unique architecture). We spend the night in Kashan.

Kashan - IKA Airport (200 Km)

On the las day of our Iran classic tour, we accompany you to Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA). However, on the way to the airport, we would have a stop at the city of Qom to visit the Holy Shrine of Fatima Masoumeh.
