Day 2

Tehran

On the second day of our tour, we visit the must-see sights in Tehran: Golestan Palace (a 19th century palace which was the seat of the government and residence of a number Qajarid kings), the Grand Bazaar of Tehran, the National Museum of Iran (we visit the pre-Islamic section of the museum and get to know the history of Iran up to the Sassanian period) and the National Jewelry Museum of Iran (home to some of the most beautiful and precious Jewels in the world, such as the legendary "Sea of Light"). Day 3

Tehran - Kashan (240km)

On the third day, we drive to Kashan. On the way, we stop at Qom and visit the Holy Mausoleum of Fatima Masuma. Then, we continue our way to Kashan. In Kashan, we visit Fin Garden (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Tabatabaei House (a prime example of traditional Iranian houses), the Bazaar of Kashan and the fabulous Amin al-Dowleh Timcheh. Day 4

Kashan – Aqda – Ardekan – Yazd (430 Km)

Today, we head to Yazd, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important residence of Iranian Zoroastrians. On the way, we visit two Zoroastrian fire temples, Pars Banoo in Aqda and Pir-e Harisht close to Ardekan. Also, we would have a excursion to Sharifabad and, whenever possible, attend a Zoroastrian celebration called "The Hyromba Celebration." Overnight stay in Yazd. Yazd Attractions and Sights

Day 5

Yazd

In Yazd, we visit: the Zoroastrian Fire Temple of Yazd (the most important fire temple in Iran), the Towers of Silence( the old graveyard of Zoroastrians), the 18th century Dowlat Abad Garden and the 15th century Amirchakhmaq Square(including a mosque, a bazaar, and a water cistern). Then, we go to visit the splendid Jameh Mosque of Yazd and will have a stroll in Fahadan Quarter, the largest adobe neighborhood in the world. Then, we will attend a Zoorkhaneh (House of Strength), a space in which Iranians have been exercising their traditional sport, "Varzesh-e Pahlevani," since ancient times up to now. Day 6

Yazd- Chakchak- Kharanaq - Yazd (250km)

On the sixth day, we will have an excursion to Kharanaq and visit Chakchak (AKA Pir-e Sabz), the most sacred mountain shrine of Iranian Zoroastrians. Then, we drive back to Yazd. Overnight stay in Yazd.

Day 7

Yazd – Cham village –Zeinodin Caravanserai- Pire Naraki- Kerman (360km)

Today, we drive south to Kerman. On the way, we visit the Zoroastrian village of Cham. Then, in Mehriz, we visit Zienodin Caravanserai, one of the very few caravanserais with a round shape in Iran. After that, we hit the road to visit another Zoroastrian pilgrimage site: Pir-e Naraki, a fire temple surrounded by Ti Jeng mountains on three sides. According to legend, Princess “Naz Banoo” , the daughter of the Sasanian king “Yazdgerd,” miraculously disappeared in this holy place to escape the Arab invaders. Overnight stay in Kerman. Day 8

Kerman – Mahan – Kerman ( 80 Km)

In Kerman, we visit the 17th Ganj-Ali Khan complex and also the Jame Mosque of Kerman. Then, we head to Mahan to visit Shazdeh Garden and the Mausoleum of Shah Nematollah Vali (a famous Iranian mystic and poet). Then, we drive back to Kerman. Overnight stay in Kerman.

Day 9

Kerman – Neyriz – Shiraz (560 Km)

On the ninth day of our Zoroastrian Tour, we drive to Shiraz. En route, we visit the Jame Mosque of Neyriz city and its delicately designed Mihrab. Further, in Sarvestan, we would have a look at the ruins of a Sassanid Palace, known as "Kakh-e Sassani". Overnight stay in Shiraz. Shiraz Attractions and Sights

Shiraz

In Shiraz, we visit: Nasir-al Molk Mosque (also known as the Pink Mosque, famous for its sash windows and the colorful play of light in one of its rooms), Narenjestan Qavam (a magnificent Qajarid house and garden), Khan Madrasa (a 16th century theological school), Eram Garden (a grand garden with a long history, now the botanical garden and museum of Shiraz University) and the Tomb of Hafez (the 14th century legendary poet of Iran, famous for his mystical and critical poems). Overnight stay in Shiraz.

Shiraz – Persepolis – Naqsh-e Rustam - Isfahan (500 Km)

On the 11th day, we drive to Isfahan. En route, we stop at Marvdasht to visit Persepolis (the ceremonial capital of the Achamenid Empire) and Necropolis (or Naqsh-e Rustam, house to the rock tombs of the Achaemenid emperors and a number of Sassanid stone-reliefs). Isfahan

In Isfahan, we visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest square in the world) and the monuments surrounding it: Jame Abbasi Mosque, Sheikh Lotfolah Mosque, Qeysarieh Bazaar and Ali Qapou Palace. Isfahan

On the second day in Isfahan, we visit the grand Atiq Jame Mosque and the Vank Cathedral in the Armenian quarter of Jolfa. You will also visit the city's famous Safavid bridges: Si-o-Se pol and Khajou. Overnight stay in Isfahan.

Isfahan – Abyaneh – IKA Airport (440km)
