Tehran

Day 2

Tehran _ Flight Tabriz

On the second day of our tour, we visit the must-see sights in Tehran: the National Museum of Iran (we visit the pre-Islamic section of the museum and get to know the history of Iran up to the Sassanian period) and the Golestan Palace (a 19th century palace which was the seat of the government and residence of a number Qajarid kings). Day 3

Tabriz- Kandowan-Tabriz (130km )

In Tabriz, we visit the famous Blue Mosque, the Azarbaijan Museum (a major archaeological and historical museum in Tabriz) and also the Grand Bazaar of Tabriz. In the afternoon, we would have an excursion to Kandovan (famous for its man-made cliff dwellings which are still inhabited). Then, we drive back to Tabriz. Overnight stay in Tabriz (Hotel Gostaresh 4*).

Day 4

Tabriz-Jolfa-Tabriz (500km)

Today, we go to visit the St. Stepanos cathedral, one of the three main cathedrals in Iran and a world heritage belonging to the Armenian Monastic Ensemble. Then, we return back to Tabriz and, if possible, visit El-Goli ParK . Overnight in Tabriz.

Day 5

Tabriz- flight Shiraz

Flight to Shiraz. In shiraz, we visit Nasir ol-Molk Mosque (also known as the Pink Mosque, famous for its sash windows and the colorful play of light in one of its rooms). Then we would have a stroll in the Vakil Bazaar of Shiraz. In the evening, we visit the Tomb of Hafez (the 14th century legendary poet of Iran, famous for his mystical and critical poems) and the Mausoleum of Ali ibn Hamzeh (renowned for its splendid mirror-work). Day 6

Shiraz - Persepolis- Shiraz (130km)

On the sixth day, we drive about 60 km to the north of Shiraz, visiting Persepolis (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire) and Necropolis (or Naqsh-e Rustam, home to the rock tombs of the Achaemenid emperors and a number of Sassanid stone-reliefs). Overnight in Shiraz.

Day 7

Shiraz - Kerman (560km)

Today, we drive from Shiraz to Kerman. En route, we visit Maharlou and Bakhtegan Salt Lakes and also a Sassanian palace, Kakh-e Sassani, in Sarvestan. Overnight in Kerman (Shahbazi Boutique Hotel) Kerman Attractions and Sights

Day 8

Kerman- Mahan-Shahdad (100km)

On the eighth day, we drive about 40km from Kerman to Mahan. In Mahan, we visit Shahzadeh Garden and the Mausoleum of Shah Nematollah Vali. Then, we drive to the Shahdad Desert to visit the world famous "kaluts" and a night speckled with winking stars. Overnight in Shahdad Desert.

Day 9

Shahdad- Kerman (100km)

Today, we drive back to Kerman and visit: the Safavid Ganj Ali Khan Complex (Ganjali Khan Square, Ganjali Khan Bathhouse, Ganjali khan Caravanserai) with a short walk in its bazaar and the Moayedi Ice House (a Safavid water and ice reservoir). Overnight in Kerman (Shahbazi Boutique Hotel).

Day 10

Kerman- Yazd (360km)

On the 10th day, we drive to Yazd. On the way, we stop to have a look at Zeinodin Caravanserai (one of the few round caravanserais in Iran). Then, we drive to Cham, a Zoroastrian village near Yazd. Overnight in Yazd (Hotel Orient). Yazd Attractions and Sights

Day 11

Yazd

In Yazd, we visit the Towers of silence (the old graveyard of Zoroastrians) and then get acquainted with one of the oldest monotheistic religions in the world in the Zoroastrian Fire Temple of Yazd. After that, we visit the 15th century Amir Chakhmaq square, the grand Jame Mosque of Yazd and have a stroll in Fahadan Neighborhood (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest adobe structure in the world). Finally, we finish the day by watching a live performance in Zoorkhaneh (House of Strength), a space in which Iranians have been exercising their traditional sport, "Varzesh-e Pahlevani," since ancient times up to now.. Yazd- Meibod- Naein- Isfahan (360km)

Today, we say goodbye to Yazd and drive to Isfahan. En route, we visit the Jame Mosque of Naein. Overnight in Isfahan (Sonati Traditional Hotel). Isfahan Attractions and Sights

Isfahan

In Isfahan, we visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second largest square in the world) and the monuments surrounding it: Jame Abbasi Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Qeysarieh Bazaar and Ali Qapou Palace. Then we visit the Safavid Chehl Sotoun Palace, a great example of world-renown Persian Gardens and a magnificent reception hall. Overnight in Esfahan.

Day 14

Isfahan

On the second day in Isfahan, we visit Jameh Atiq Mosque (a world heritage site and the largest historical mosque in Iran). Then, we go to the Armenian Jolfa quarter and visit the grand Vank Cathedral. After that, we spend some time in the Music Museum of Isfahan, enjoying a fantastic live performance of Iranian classical music. Finally, you will visit the two world-famous bridges in Isfahan, Si-o-Se Pol and Khajou. Overnight in Isfahan.

Isfahan (Free Day)

Day 16

Isfahan- Abyaneh- Kashan (210 km)

Now, it is time to leave Isfahan and go to Kashan. En route, we take a detour and visit Abyaneh (a village targeted by UNESCO due to its special architecture and red color). In Kashan, we visit the 19th century Tabatabaei House, a prime example of traditional Iranian houses. Overnight stay in one of the beautiful traditional Iranian houses of Kashan. Kashan- IKA Airport (200 km)

On the last day of our tour, we visit Fin Garden and then drive to Tehran. Depending on your departure flight, we either take you to Imam Khomeini International Airport or the Ibis Hotel.
